WOTGG Annual Conference

This was my display at the Women of the Green Generation third annual conference in downtown LA today.  It was a beautiful view from the 12th floor penthouse of the Haas Building.  I was situated right next to a vendor selling organic chocolate, which required amazing will-power on my part not to snack on chocolate samples all day!



They did an eco-fashion show in the afternoon that was really fun.

TreePeople Green City Fair

Thank you to everyone who came to see my work at TreePeople's Green City Fair today! It was such a beautiful day up there, amongst all of the trees. I appreciate your support and encouragement, and it was great to see all of you!

Exciting New Colors!

WOW WOW WOW!  Look at these great Oops! paints that I found at Home Depot this morning.  The small quart can is a Martha Stewart metallic.  It looks like the theme for this week is pink and green!

New Work

Two new paintings done with a more subdued palette.  This is before I spilled the can of orange paint!

Serendipity

When I was painting the other day, I accidentally knocked over an entire quart of orange paint -- onto my painting area. My first thought was, "Oh no!" But then I thought -- opportunity to try something new. And of course the experimental pieces with the orange are my favorites!

That's often how I find new techniques and ideas -- from accidents and mistakes.

Rose Cafe Show Opens Today!

Here are some pictures of my show at The Rose Cafe in Venice, CA. We hung the show last Sunday night, and it looks beautiful! The show opens today, and continues through April 29th. I'll be at the cafe on Friday, March 16th and Saturday, March 31st from 2-3:30pm to greet my public!
